With PDEsquire, it really pays to be an early adopter.Back to Top

The "Founding-Member" designation is granted to all Per Diem Attorneys (we call them PDEsquire) who register on this platform while we are still in beta phase. This designation guarantees the member a variety of benefits that will NOT be available to future members who register AFTER the beta phase has ended.

    For example:
  • ALL "Founding-Members" are GUARANTEED an Affiliate Account with PDEsquire even if we decide later not to offer Affiliate Accounts anymore.
  • An Affiliate Account allows you to receive 1/3* of the service fee we collect on every Project completed by a PDEsquire who registered with us through your affiliate link.
  • Be 1st in line for all our future member-benefits.
  • And much more…
  • Basically, we reward you for trusting us now.
*  PDE’s service fee is only 16% of the Project amount. 1% is used to cover part of transaction costs charged by Stripe (our payment processor). 5% is distributed to the affiliate member, if any, who introduced you to PDE. The remaining 10% goes to PDE to cover operation, service development, etc.

What is a Per Diem Attorney?Back to Top

The Latin term "Per Diem" means "for the day" (or "for each day") and can be applied to all sort of context and industries.
In the legal industry, the phrase "Per Diem Attorney" (or Lawyer) refers to a licensed law practitioner who accepts assignments on a day-by-day basis on a matter for which she is not the "attorney of record".

We have coined the term "Per Diem Esquire(s)" and "PDEsquire". We use them throughout this website with the same meaning as "Per Diem Attorney" (or Lawyer).

How Do You Work as a Per Diem Attorney? There are 3 models:Back to Top
    1) You go it alone and work on your own – Here are some of the issues with that model:
  • You are solely responsible for networking, marketing yourself, finding your own "clients" (firms and other attorneys who may be willing to trust you with their client’s matter).
  • You are solely responsible for preparing and delivering reports on the matters you covered to your "clients"
  • You are solely responsible for preparing and delivering an invoice for your services promptly;
  • You are solely responsible for collecting payments on your invoices, etc. (chasing deadbeat "clients").
  • As a result of all the above, you have little time to do the work and even less time for family and fun (to live).
    2) You depend on an "agency" (staffing/per diem agency, other firms or middle-men) to find and refer assignments to you.
Here are some of the issues with that model:
  • The agency’s coordinator/calendaring supervisors are just people; they develop relationships with a few Per Diem Attorneys (within the agency’s network). They naturally go to those Per Diem Attorneys by default out of comfort.
  • It’s difficult for you to break into the "favorites" club if you are new in the agency’s network.
  • If you don’t get the call, you don’t get the work.
  •  □ By the time the coordinator gets to you; the lucrative plum assignments are gone; you are left with the rest.
     □ Now, if you really want to work, you have to take it –-> you are NO longer in control.
  • Someone else representing the agency negotiates your fees with the "client" (the firm); which means that you are NOT in control, OR
  • The agency has a pre-set "pricing table" that leaves no room for changing market conditions (up or down); again, you are NOT in control.
  • High fees collected by the "agency" for its services; usually 1/3 of the project amount.
  • Physical limitations of a century old system based on a coordinator needing to talk with the firm, then with you (back and forth) before a "deal" is made;
  • Because of the inefficiencies of that system, many firms rather avoid it and try to get referral through the friend of a friend. (very frustrating)
    3) You join the PDEsquire revolution and you get the benefits of the other 2 models but NONE of their inconveniences. Back to Top
  • The PDE platform becomes your virtual office; with everything you need to find, accept, manage and complete a Project; including:
  •  □ Your PDE Calendar for you to keep track of all your PDE assignments.
     □ Project Report generated and delivered to the Firms directly through the PDE platform.
     □ Invoice generated (marked "Paid") and delivered to the Firms directly through the PDE platform once your payment is released. COMING SOON.
  • Any-Time/Any-Where Accessibility: PDE is at your fingertips on ALL your electronic devises, 24/7 and anywhere you are.
  • Same-Day-Pay – Opportunity to get paid on the same day you completed the Project; as soon as your project report is accepted.
  • Get your own Affiliate Account and create a residual income: Promote your affiliate link to other attorneys and get a referral fee every time he/she complete a Project as PDEsquire.
  • We handle the marketing to the Firms and get them to post Projects on the PDE platform for you to bid on them.
  • No "calendaring supervisor" = no chance of being left out of the "favorites" club and having to get the leftover assignments.
  • All Projects are posted publicly for all PDEsquires to see and bid on them.
  • Projects are attributed based on a bidding system, so you know exactly what the market can bear.
  • In the end, the price is determined directly between you and the Firm. You are in Control.
  • Our fee is only 16% of the Project amount ($16 minimum charge).
  • The efficiency of our system and the pricing accuracy will likely entice more Firms to try to use PDEs growing the "per diem pie" for all.
